Workshop Structure
Workshops generally begin with a quick overview the nature of stress and provide a scientific basis for our stress management techniques. Next, workshop leaders will assess the specific needs of the workshop participants in order to tailor our interventions to their individual concerns.
Participants will learn a variety of relaxation techniques that will allow them to reduce physiological stress and experience both immediate and ongoing relief from anxiety and tension. They will also receive training in thought-stopping and reframing techniques that can help them to manage stressful situations more effectively, and with fewer experiences of physical and emotional distress.
